About PCMG
PCMG was founded to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world investing. Built and led by students, the program is designed to reflect how investment decisions are actually made through collaboration, careful analysis, and accountability. Each semester, members work through complete investment projects by building financial models, evaluating opportunities, and preparing written investment memoranda that support clear recommendations. Along the way, students learn not only technical concepts, but also how to think critically, communicate their ideas, and make thoughtful decisions with imperfect information.
The practicum is supported by a growing network of alumni, faculty, and industry professionals who act as mentors and investment committee members. Teams receive regular feedback on their work and presentations, which helps set consistent expectations across cohorts and reinforces professional standards. Through repeated exposure to real investment work and structured review, members develop judgment, confidence, and a long-term perspective. At its core, PCMG is a training ground for disciplined investors that values integrity and sound decision making as much as outcomes.
